This plan guarantees the continuation of the conflict in the not-too-distant future. It is not a peace plan. It is merely an armistice that allows Hamas to survive and its monstrous leadership to go unpunished nor does it impose any cost upon Egypt, a country that receives $1.5 billion in economic aid from the United States every year, for supplying Hamas with weapons through the sophisticated tunnels discovered by the IDF at Rafah. The plan demonstrates that terrorism works.
It fails to recognize the absolute necessity of Israel crushing Hamas, controlling the Gaza Strip and reasserting its sovereignty over Judea & Samaria or the urgency of disbanding the P.A. the main goal of which has always been the destruction of Israel. The P.A.'s cooperation with and support of the Oct. 7th. attack proves this beyond any doubt.
Furthermore, it does not address the moral imperative of de-Nazifying the Gazan population, the Arab Palestinian population of Judea & Samaria or reforming the 1,400-year ambition of Islamic supremacy throughout the region which is really the toxic fuel that fires and sustains the endless hatred towards the Jews and all infidels.
This being the disappointing case it reveals the tragically dangerous reality that our president and his woefully inadequate envoy, Steve Witkoff, do not understand the obdurate evil with which they are dealing.
