60 LABOR MEMBERS AT LABOR PARTY EVENT SLAMMING KING CHARLES AS A 'WHITE PRIVILEGED MALE'

On the whole I have to agree with Thomas Paine who observed that a hereditary head of state is as absurd a proposition as a hereditary physician or a hereditary astronomer. Yet, it seems to have served the British people well enough particularly since the monarchy became a constitutional one.

The carping about male white privilege from 60 members of the Labor Party and one Labor M.P. harks back to the birth of the Labor Party during the early 1900s and its justified opposition to Britain’s rigid class system and the exploitation of the “working class” by industrialists.

Once he crossed the floor of the House, Churchill discovered the working poor. He said he failed to see the dignity in an empire that could rule the waves but couldn’t flush its sewers. 

It was a clear and painful recollection of these doleful circumstances on the part of most of the electorate that would lead to Churchill’s spectacular defeat in 1945 after his dedicated, strenuous and Homeric exertions during 6 years of world war.

Those appalling social circumstances no longer exist and are not what concern the 60 republican members of the Labor Party. 

At one time the Labor Party were seen as the champions of the underdog and were able to exploit the stark differences between the “haves” and the “have-nots”. 

Now, and perhaps ironically due to some of its efforts, it is left with the much-reduced distinction between the “haves” and the “have-less”. All standards have been dramatically raised. Nobody dies of starvation or lack of proper health care in Britain anymore. Primary education is paid for by the state. 

Under this reality it is much more difficult to indulge in class warfare in order to achieve success at the polls so the only thing left is classic Marxism. It has to convince the ”have-less” to see themselves as the “oppressed” and the Labor Party as their saviors. It will save everyone from all privilege, white privilege in particular, and a male heterosexual patriarchy. 

The Labor Party has more solutions than there are problems. Dull gray government conformity with the concomitant lowering of standards in order to produce equal results is the suffocating goal. It destroys merit, is critical of achievement and despises excellence. Sound familiar?! America’s insanity has sprinted across the Atlantic.

In one of his talks George Will said, “Envy stokes anger. We are apt to be happiest when we are least envious because envy is the only one of the 7 deadly sins that does not give even momentary pleasure. I invite you to go down the list.”

In the meantime, the one Labour M.P. and his 60 fellow travelers would be far better off if they concentrated on completely ridding themselves of the atrocious Corbynite Jew-hatred that they allowed to stain, corrode and corrupt their party instead of wasting time wringing their hands about the efficacy of their ancient monarchy.
