One of the reasons for this shoulder-shrugging indifference towards decades of Jew-hatred indoctrination and horrific violence towards the Jewish people is the big lie that the perpetrators are admirable freedom fighters, but real freedom fighters fight to combat real and identifiable oppression whereas Muslim terrorists do not see their targets as human beings but as enemies of their "cause" who have earned their fate. Thus, they elevate expediency to a moral principle. The principle, of course, is based on a cacophony of repeated lies with the concomitant dogmas of ferocious hatreds reinforcing all their false claims and accusations.
Apart from their preposterous claim that Jesus was a Palestinian their biggest lie, and it’s the size of Jupiter, is that Jerusalem belongs to them. They must have been very poorly educated. They must also ignore this damning statement made by PLO leader, Zuheir Mohsen in a March 1977 interview with the Dutch newspaper, Trouw:
"The Palestinian people does not exist. The creation of a Palestinian state is only a means for continuing our struggle against the state of Israel for our Arab unity. In reality, today there is no difference between Jordanians, Palestinians, Syrians and Lebanese. Only for political and tactical reasons do we speak today about the existence of a Palestinian people, since Arab national interests demand that we posit the existence of a distinct Palestinian people to oppose Zionism.
For tactical reasons, Jordan, which is a sovereign state with defined borders, cannot raise claims to Haifa and Jaffa, while as a Palestinian, I can undoubtedly demand Haifa, Jaffa, Beer-Sheva and Jerusalem. However, the moment we reclaim our right to all of Palestine, we will not wait even a minute to unite Palestine and Jordan."
Another highly inconvenient fact for them is that Jerusalem was the capital city of ancient Israel a thousand years before Christ and sixteen hundred years before Mohammed. Down through the centuries Jerusalem has been besieged, attacked, conquered and reconquered but never has it been claimed as the capital city of any other nation or state, not once.
Part of Jerusalem was illegally occupied by Jordan after the 1948 war of independence after which the Jordanians expelled or killed the Jews living there and destroyed the synagogues, but not even the Jordanians claimed it as any sort of capital city. Israel regained that part of Jerusalem during the Six Day War of 1967 just a few years after the “Palestinian People” were invented with Yasir Arafat, who was born and educated in Cairo, as their self-appointed leader with a penchant for European rent-boys.
If it wishes to restore its tragically collapsing credibility after its self-imposed debacle in Afghanistan, the Biden Administration should cease pandering to the Arab Palestinians‘ demonstrably concocted claims against Israel and put the Muslim inclined nations of the U.N., the E.U. and the terrorist caucus of the Democratic Party on notice that infantilizing the Arab Palestinians and their entirely corrupt, kleptocratic leaders will no longer be an organizing principle of the United States when it comes to its policy in the Middle East. This would provide the kind of clarity where the truth becomes obvious if not universally embraced, but old habits die hard.
