If half of the young people in Britain believe that their country was founded on racism it is because they have been taught by so-called teachers whose dedication to woke nonsense on stilts ( i.e. Mathematics is racist) inevitably leads them to instruct their hapless students in a spirit of complete detachment from the facts.
When William the Conqueror of Normandy defeated King Harold II, the last Anglo-Saxon king of England, in September of 1066 at the Battle of Hastings it’s safe to say there wasn’t one black person in the entire country.
The African and Indian continents would remain unexplored for 500 years. This was something well known to every British schoolboy of my generation. Anyone who suggested otherwise would have been laughed out of the lowest form which is where, I suspect, most of the young people who still believe Britain was founded on racism languished for most of their school years.
