On the face of it the article below which describes how various schools are to be renamed in the service of political correctness gone berserk seems ludicrous but it should be taken seriously. If old, white, Honest Abe can be demonized and delegitimized by the Left then anything is possible and that's really the point.
Deliberately misrepresenting history by ignoring historical context allows the Left to control the perception of the present by controlling the perception of the past.
The Left has calculated that if it can get people to believe its woke identity perceptions, then there is almost nothing that can't be turned on its head to achieve the revolution it has planned and is now well underway.
"Who controls the past controls the future. Who controls the present controls the past," wrote George Orwell in his novel, 1984. Life is now imitating art.
The lies of the wokeness warriors from the violent communists of BLM to left-wing academia to the mainstream media to all of those in our political class who have succumbed to the bribery, blandishments and influence of George Soros, are expanding at a vertiginous rate. Long ago these lies infected and seduced so many of the ubiquitous nonentities from the Obama Administration now resurfacing to aid stumbling Joe Biden, the Commander-in-Thief, whose culture of contempt, even for the few who actually did vote for him, will soon wring every drop of generosity from a people that used to pride themselves not only on their sense of fair play but also on their compassion.
