NANCY PELOSI, FIDDLING WHILE ROME BURNS

While the Republicans are trying to throw America a lifeline the Democrats want to squander precious time packing the stimulus bill with indigestible pork. It has become something of a pattern with the Democrats that when we face a national crisis they set extremely low standards for themselves.

Using this pandemic as an opportunity to advance the Democrats’ political agenda is Rahm Emanuel’s dictum of “never let a crisis go to waste” in action. In the ‘bright autumn of her senescence’ Nancy Pelosi has chosen to  display a murderous hostility towards the American people in their hour of urgent need.

Nero let Rome burn because he was mad. Nancy Pelosi, however, is content to let our country burn and suffer while she and the Democratic leadership, if you can call it that, hold Americans hostage to the Left’s extreme socialist, destructive, "progressive" and poisonous prescriptions so much admired by the so-called SQUAD while Americans are becoming infected and dying and while our economy is in a major crisis.

President Trump is standing with history but not surprisingly Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats are, yet again, exploiting a national crisis to gain the kind of political triumph they would be unable to achieve at the ballot box, but why change the habits of a lifetime?!
